About CLCNWI

Dr. Joshua Bernard Austin is a career educator with over 16 years’ experience in Chicagoland and Gary Schools.  He comes to CLC after serving  4 years as a teacher and student recruiter for Chicago International Charter Schools (CICS).

 Prior to CICS he held teaching and educational leadership positions at Roosevelt College and Career Academy and Lighthouse College Prep in Gary, IN, FAM Institute Bible College & Seminary, Clemente High School, John Hay Community School, Orr High School in Chicago, IL and the Valley View School District in Romeoville, IL. 

Dr. Josh holds an undergraduate degree from Tuskegee University, a double master's degree from Liberty University, and a doctorate in Christian Education from FAM Institute Bible College and Seminary.
